Ally panniers on standard BMW rails

I seem to remember a thread or an item for sale which was Ally panniers that could be fitted to the OEM pannier rails, I have tried several searches and cant seem to find it, can anyone help? Is there anyone making ally panniers that fit onto the standard bmw rails?

I don't think these are very sucessfull I seem to remember reading, best bet looking at the price is to keep a sharp look out for s/h frames and panniers.

i found such panniers at wunderlich.de last year (2007), but this year they seem to be gone
that leaves us more or less in the same sad situation...
