Alpine passes - take care

We were there a couple of weeks ago, came up from Bormio to find a tractor rally had come up the other side. An English guy heard us talking, came over and started ranting about how awful it was, too many hairpins, too steep, big drops at the side etc. He was mid rant when Geoff spotted that the tractors were getting ready to go back down, so we quickly kitted up and left him looking for a hotel to stay in. Past the first couple of tractors (ironic, me on a GS) and had the downward side all to ourselves!

You should have suggested he did a tour of the Netherlands. :D

LOL :D

We normally rant about the people getting stuck on the hairpins :D

The videos above have been all over Instagram for months.
Nothing new to be fair (for people who had life/biking experience outside of Instagram reels) and it happens with a decent amount of tourists not used to proper cornering.

Main issue is not those who crash (you can spot them from 5 miles and keep your distance) but those who cannot do hairpins (or corners generally) in their lane that can lead to some not pleasant encounters. Nothing new as well.
