Altberg boots resoled

Just got my eight year old boots back from Altberg after having them resoled.

Not only were they resoled, but, they've restitched the leather that holds the velcro in place, and they're polished.

All for £52

Boots are still totally waterproof after all that time.

Great service and great boots

I thought they had stopped the repair service due to unrealistic aspirations

I asked about their full refurbishment, apparently it was stopped last December.

"Just" a resoling service now.

I'm a fan....I walk a lot....If you walk a lot, then you need Altberg and Paramo....

Looked again at the boots, they have replaced a lot of the velcro.

Thought they'd stopped too so put mine on ebay - if they don't sell I know I can at least get them resoled. It's only the left one thats badly worn - wierd.

They haven't had as much use as my old clubmans so won't be that stinky and anyway you won't smell them when you're riding and there are always clothes pegs for when you aren't

Glad to hear you were pleased with the Altberg Service ... my 11 yr old boots went there 2 years ago for a "refurb" .. a 4 week turnaround .. new soles new velcro new liners and new leather toe bits ... for about £65 as I remember .. they were and still are by far the best boots I have ever owned ... used for work and all year round commuting ... Just Brilliant. I have no idea why people here waste their money on anything else.
