To the best of my knowledge Altberg is a bootmaker - visiting there on Saturday as it happens.

I've got AS Crash bars and a Jesse Rack....

The bars were bought new, the rack was cheap as chips from on here (came with a top box).

My boots are BMW & Hein Gericke....

That would be Altrider for crash protection, racks and other things.
If it’s just upper protection you’re after then the Altrider kit is probably best as it will bolt to the standard engine bars.
If you want a full crash cage then there are other options to just touratech.

Adventure spec bars on my bike. Had them in use now for nearly 10 years. Also good for deflecting young deer at 30 mph. DAMHIK?

Heres my Adventure Spec bars fitted to a F700GS. Notice how high they come. This is critical because if you have an ofF and damage the plastics its mucho dinero !
