I now have a nearly new pair of Altberg Roadrunner boots, used no more than half a dozen times from new, bought from this parish. Utterly superb boots size 10M which sadly are too big for me so I'm offering these for sale at what I paid for them - £150 which is an absolute bargain for boots less than 6 months old which are £330 new and in excellent condition.

The roadrunner boot was developed in 2014 as a boot for UK and European touring and police duties. The boot is certified to the highest level for road use, the tests include slip resistance, cut resistance and crush resistance and water proofing to 100,000 flexes in water.

Leather is full thickness Anfibio® full grain water repellent hide and this is backed up by a 4 laminate Sympatex® lining, which incorporates a waterproof breathable membrane.

The sole is Altberg's own design, Rhino, which is oil and acid resistant as well as having a good cleated tread which grips well on urban as well as rural terrain and which passes the BSEN slip resistant test to the highest level SRC.

M - For medium feet we suggest that you go up ½ a size on your SHOE size – this will allow for a thick sock with the boots

In my opinion these are better than Daytonas Roadstar GTX, I’ve had both. Mine are at least 7 years old and look as good as when I bought them. I don’t know if they still are but mine were made in Yorkshire.

I have a pair i bought in 1998 and they are still first class. Totally waterproof and comfortable been all over Europe in them. Best bike gear i have ever bought. Made in Richmond Yorkshire
