Alternative fairing/headlights

As my 1100gs is now a bit of a project having been crashed and having been paid out by the ins co I was thinking of fitting a diffrent fairing.
There used to be an airhead gs with a fj1200 fairing and I quite like the rally bike/ktm adventure look
Any pics, links or ideas?

That bike was called desert storm and was put together by Richard Slater of Lavarda Jota fame. The bike used to be owned by one of the members on here - not sure if that's still the case.

In terms of alternative fairings - I'm sure anything could be made to fit but I'd be looking at a touratech deseirto fairing if you can find one

Pre V-Tec, as in FiW to Fi1. I saw it several years ago at the Air Ambulance day at the Bugatti Hillclimb at Prescott. I thought I'd posted a pic on here but can't find it. I'm pretty sure I posted one on Honda VFR Club but that's been down for ages.
A Google search hasn't revealed anything....

It then occured to me that it was 2011 when I saw it and I probably still have a pic or two on my Mac. Lo and behold.....looks like it's an 1100, not and 1150.

I think that's one for the visual cripples amongst us; somebody obviously loved it at some time tho.

I think if you removed the beak, lowered and moved the VFR fairing backwards it would look fine. It is, of course, a bit ironic to suggest that any modification to an R1100 GS could somehow make it looks worse.

Not just the looks, I ride most days and would like a bit more protection mid winter, rt may have been a better choice but its not a gs is it?
As its now a cat d and I have been paid out I thought I'd keep it as a winter bike hence more protecton
