Okay so I’m useless with the search facility.
Would someone be kind enough to pass me the link to ebay for the cheap Chinese alternative to a mudslinger please.
Thanks a lot in advance !! :beerjug:

Beware the cheap copies. I went down that route (i is cheap), only to find that the copy I got was a few centimeters shorter than the Mudsling one. This caused the copy one to rub on the top part of the swingarm; just in front of the rear tyre when you sat on the bike. Had my friends GSA next to me which had the Mudsling fitted and this was long enough to go below the swingarm so not catch on the top. ;)

+1 on the above- I too bought a Chinese one for my lowered GS (Not GSA) and found exactly the same- I ended up buying the proper 1

Hmmm okay.
Buy cheap, buy twice !!!

Yep I bought twice :blast

To be fair the ad on ebay said it was for a GSA and I took a punt it would fit my lowered GS but it didn't. I sold it to someone else on here with a GSA and heard nothing back so assume it either fitted his or he fettled it to suit.

I sent my one back and got a refund. As was not fit for purpose.

Please please please.
I am not trying to be an arse, but it is one of those things that grates with me.
It's called a MUDSLING not a MUDSLINGER. Look at the top of the page, it's always been there.

WTF ???

Be good to see how you get on with it.

Will probably put it on tomorrow, rain and snow, so something to do, but must admit, it is perfect length no worries about swing arm, and will let some air through, so hopefully all good, but Quality seems very very good, I like the fact that it is a bolt on, and not a few weak cables, and cheap plastic.
