Yeah, it's been absolutely fine. And to be honest the paint issue doesn't bother me that much - as it has not yet broken through, or degraded (yet).
I've recently removed the molle racks, as IMO, think they're a bit pointless as they are plastic and can only hold very little weight as they bend so easy with tight straps, or weight (even 1kg). And the box now looks better as it's less fussy!
It's been a solid box, and weather tight through all sorts. It's a really useful size/shape and easy to pack.
To be fair, it's not a bad price as it includes the mounting plate too. Circa £100 more than the Givi Trekker 42L + mounting plate (if going for the Bike specific version). And it definitely feels more solid/well built than the Givi options.
I'm happy to send pictures of my current 'box with the paint issue if you're interested. The only things needed for it would be the mounting plate, locking barrel (x 2 - 1 for box & mount plate) & the small detachable light.
We can discuss a price + postage.
