Had this as an Xmas pressie from the wife as i am gooing touring this year
Its the Touratech tank day bag which is suppose to do both models of GS this is why i asked for this one (i knew i would be getting a new GS)
The tank bag fitts the MK1 gs better than the MK2 on the older model it can be too far back and slope to one side off the ridges,
Im not happy about sticking velcro all over the tank and the headstock clips are not what i would call very secure and not adjustable, i have had one tank bag let go at 60 and its not fun

In the tank bag was a couple of nice straps
simple stap method as used on my old 650 with my wolfman tank bag
Strip of the bits from the straps and go round the head stock (not the key barrel) and under the frame number bit, attach the clips & reroute both sides
Simples
More secure and in the correct postion on the tank to hold better
