Get 3 for the price of most ebay scammers!

Just got one myself, £5.99 from Europarts. Just why they are so much more expensive from specialist suppliers remains a mystery. There is nothing "special" about this belt, the designation 4PK611 tells you all you need and a reputable brand such as Continental or as has been mentioned Dayco will be up to the job.

My BMW belt is still the original, it has it's size-4PK611 clearly marked on it. What more do you need to know, except maybe that BMW belts aren't made by BMW anyway!

Mine is an 1150 but the point is they have their size on the outside of these belts. As there is no tensioner wheel to polish the markings off working out what belt you need is simply a matter of taking the cover off and having a look. Do what I and the OP did and just put those numbers into Google. You will find a wide range of prices for identical belts. I'm sure anyone can work it out from there!

The pulleys?

Early on, I had an r1100rs that had a new pulley in the belt kit - can't remember the reason.
.
Earlier bikes had an adjustment on the alternator to tension the belt but later rely on belt elasticity.
