Alternator Belt replacement - any tips?

After Pint 6x's experience I checked mine when setting valves and throttle bodies....oh oh it's breaking up [34k].
Does any one have any tips on fitting / getting tension right? I see it is a bolt and 2 nuts holding it in place and guess the bolt head on the left, as you look at it, is the pivot bolt for the alternator.
Thanks for any tips from someone who has done it!:D

Also can anyone suggest the quickest place to get a replacemant belt mail order?

If you haven't got a torque wrench that small then as a rule of thumb you shouldn't be able tom twist the belt past 90 degrees
