Thursday night was a feet up around the fire night interupted by one highlight.

Order of the day at the AE is to hoon around the site on your sidecar - preferably pissed, and do lots of hard turns, and kick up loads of dirt :D

Our evening took a dramtic turn when a German chap hooned down our road in the pitch black, turned sharply and immediately flipped the sidecar over trapping his female passenger underneath. This was a "bike over sidecar" incident and action was required.

We all immediately got the whole thing back up the right way to shouts of Schnell....Schnell... from the rider like some kind of comedy Nazi prison guard :D

All that seemed to be damaged was a headlight, and the rider transpired to be Guido - a guy the others had met a previous year. We did the only decent thing and invited him to join us for a beer.

He returned the next morning to show us his 1951 outfit previously owned by his father.
