recently kitted out my gsa wc with altrider kit , and got to admit the stuff is awesome , headlight guard little fiddly to fit but quality is awesome .bash plate is fantastic and its the only one on the market not to be bolted to the engine . my question is although I am a fan I would like to know what other people think about altrider equipment.

Why worry about what other folk think if you are happy with it and have spent the cash already?
Seems like you've passed the point of no return, just enjoy it ?

Really like their stuff and although a little expensive quality is excellent.

Planning to buy their crash bars for the GS (and my K16) over the winter if I can afford it. :thumb2

Don't mention the A word on here.:rob Wapping to the bat phone!:P

pics

hi sorry for delay having trouble getting pics on here once I am able I will upload pics of my headlight guard , bash plate , hand guards and foot enlarger for you all from altrider . I purchased all of these from the adventure bike shop in acton near Sudbury Suffolk ,staff are very helpful . but I must say I used to have touratech before on my old bike but this altrider gear seems so much better ,not only in look and feel but also in quality .also cheaper than touratech which is always a blessing .

hi tricky the adventure bike shop are holding a open day on sept 14 with loads of trade stalls and special guest appearances etc plus discounts mate

Hi

Will be travelling back from Spain on Sunday but will definitely be paying them a visit soon as just up the road from me. :thumb2

Fitted their crash bars to my Super Ten, excellent design and construction. Look really good in stainless as well.

I have their bashplate on my WC GSA. Awesome piece of kit. Much better than Touratechs version.

Altrider mounts to frame not underside of engine. Which makes for a more robust plate.

Destroyed mounts on Touratech bashplate on previous bike whhich was a Hexhead.

Bash plate

Yes I agree bash plate is awesome being full length , and not mounted to engine , plus giving header pipes better protection , definitely better than touratech , I also find if you cut up a piece of milk carton and roll it into the shape of the sump nut release cut out , when you change oil it makes no mess on inside of plate .
