Thinking of fitting a Bos full system. End can choice of Aluminium or S/steel. Importers state that whilst all systems are stainless steel, the can cover is purely cosmetic aluminium ,s/steel or carbon)

I think the aluminium looks best against the matt silver finish on GS 1150 ADV, but I am concerned that the aluminium will rust when matched with the steel y piece , can internals and trims. Do not want to waste money for the sake of a £10 extra cost

Should I opt for s/steel over the aluminium?

Any knowledge, experience or advice on this one would be greatly appreciated

get stainless - tougher and longer lasting :thumb

alluminium is cheap and soft - looks tattier quicker.

even better - get titanium if possible

Absolutely what he said.

Tried for Titanium originally. Script in brochure says "4 finishes available" but pictures the 3 mentioned.

According to the importer (Fowlers Bristol)

.."Ah..you see..there is a world wide shortage of titanium. The japanese purchased it all recently for manufacture of surgical instruments"

Is this for real?

How do all the other companies manage to supply titanium cans?

Perhaps it a load "they made earlier" or cans are classed as surgical instruments"!
