Aluminium tank side panels

Just wondered if anyone has changed the colour of their side panels ? Prob gonna get mine anodised but still not 100% sure on what colour, be good to see some different colours if they're out there.

Wouldn't powdercoat be cheaper and less likely to scratch?

They are not aluminium. I had mine painted then stuffed in an oven.

How about vinyl wrapping them.....thousands of colours...easy to do and will cost under £20 all in.....and you won't be able to tell they are not sprayed.

pressed aluminium not cast, and they are anodised as standard, I swapped the silver ones on my black GSA for black

Liking that a lot As mines a TB i think the side panels would look much better black than silver.

Anodising leaves a hard but very thin coating. Powder is much tougher but to my mind the metallic same look like cheap plastic. Low temperature stove is much nicer.
Wrapping film is tough but not permanent. When you get bored just peel it off.
Paint would be my last choice - too fragile.

Its a GSA & cheers for the link, have decided to have a go at the vinyl wrap stuff
