Quick recommendation .. was originally going to kit up my 900 with the pannier frames and engine bars from Hepco and Becker. Changed my mind after seeing my mates Desert Rose kitted up with bars from Outback Motortek .. plus their 'drop test' videos which make you smart.
Ordered the pannier rails, engine bars and heavy duty skid plate (yet to fit) .. absolutely superb:
1. Kit quality .. excellent, great finish right down to the fasteners
2. Fitting was a cinch and their videos are spot on .. possibly the best fitting support I have ever had .. set the laptop up in the garage and just copied the video
3. Result is superb .. I've done some clearance tests and the pannier rails and bars provide excellent protection .. time will tell after a few 'drops' but I have no concerns, now, when it does go down in the rough stuff
.. will be using my existing Kreiga OS Soft panniers which fit nicely with the 'throw-over' straps and will complete with some barkbusters, shortly.
