Always worth hunting prices...

Haha cheers,

I can see why people scrimp though. It can easily get out of hand and you'd be £25,000 invested before you knew it.

I haven't even booked the 10 Days BMW trek in Thailand yet !!

You really only needed a full decated Akro exhaust and a trip to Hilltop ... the rest are mere farkels :green gri

I have just as much fun on my £3000 Bandit 1250. Doesn't matter how much you spend.

Just get an honest straight bike and keep it maintained. Then ride it all the time. Thats my philosophy.

£5000 !!!! ??? What the hell you bought ???

A crate of

I've seen that Akra, thought it was way to expensive for a less desirable EU4 unit that has cosmetic damage and missing parts. Their £650 asking price was way to high. I have a carbon heat shield you after by the way

I didn't pay anywhere NEAR the original asking price... and I'll bet you don't! LOL

On that list you quote your service at £80 . Well done in getting the figure down , but surely if your spending in excess of 20k, you would want that for free?

My garage has a 2017 RT. Free first and second service ,
A 2016 gs800. Free first service
A2015 r nine T. First service free .

Always negotiate the service free , it cost BMW next to nothing .

What's with the £150 fir hotels below the nav purchase ? Did you get lost ????

Not at 8:24AM....just bored of the stupid rust comments.

Truth hurts ?

Every day a new thread appears on here about corroding GSs that are barely out of the showroom.

Here's todays.

What IS stupid is why muppets buy such a shite product in the first place.

Why the fuck are you even here then? Just to bag out the bikes?

What IS stupid is why muppets come into a forum just to talk shite in the first place

Morning ;)

In excess of £20k wasn't spent with my BMW Dealer. I actually bought my new 2017 GSA Triple Black with Gear Shift Assist Pro and Keyless Start for £15,900 over a grand discount. So I didn't begrudge paying £80 for its 1st service (which was also discounted).

My hotel costs are for my 2 day Off Road Course as others on here have suggested it's knackering, so me and my mate are booked in for 4 days on an extended biking holiday/weekend.

When I do stuff, its rarely half hearted.

I bought a new Kawasaki ZZR1400 Performance Sport last year - free 1st service. A new Honda VFR1200 and a new Triumph 675R as well with free 1st service, oh and a Suzuki GSX600F with free 1st service. So, as a business owner I know the routine. Probably spent around £70k on bikes in last 5 years so its not a cheap hobby.

Maybe BMW caught me on a 'soft' day.

Anyways... Ducati Panigale 1299 next, or Yamaha MT10 SP...
