Am I going mad or is my GPS?

When I plot a route on map source the route looks great, but only vaguely follows the road. It almost like the 'route' has a more accurate picture than the map
I'm sure it didn't used to do that>

Check the 'VIEW' tab in the mapsource and make sure you have ' GPS Map detail' selected (or you can just do Ctrl+G) . If this doesn't make it I think you and your GPS might indeed be heading toward insanity

Select View - Click GPS Map Detail as you see below the road is actually that shape.
