Am I still legal if I remove my exhaust flap thing?

Hi all, had some great info on my engine turn over and bolt fitting questions…….so I wanted to ask about any legal/MOT issues around exhaust flap removal (2012 GSA)
I would like to get rid of it all ( flap, cables and servo motor) and fit a blank pipe with the plug in electrical wizardry box from motorworks, but before I get spending…….I just wanted to know about any issues from people that have already done this.

I have a 2013 LC with a full Akrapovič system without cat'. All declared with my insurer, BeMoto. No issues at MOT times as there is, as yet, no emissions test for motorcycles.

Even though the baffles are still in the can, I do find it a bit loud when I'm really winding it on, out on the road.

Did it, no issue with performance or MOT
