Ive ordered the machineart head guards to blacken them down a bit. Cover 80% of head

But conducting it - to atmosphere.....................

I'm going with - no difference from gloss paint (even pastel shades, that LC-owners might prefer.......)

Black radiates better just as it heats up in the sun better, but forced convection from the heads is by far the greater effect.
