Amazon Account - Closing - how ?

I don't trust these feckers anymore....but having tried for ages to find a way to completely close my account...seems they are making it VERY hard to do so !

Amazon.co.uk are slightly different ( from .com ) in that their 'help' button ( so you can email to cancel your account ) very cleverly sends you around in circles. Anyone else managed to close their a/c and if so, please post on how to do it.

I can only see that it says 'contact us to close your account' - there is no button

Reckon I must be the only one who quite likes amazon prime - use the next day postage option for whole family, including girls at university and it's repaid itself easily this year.

Only realised a few weeks ago that it came with video on tv - just watched an episode of Bosch.

No I like Amazon prime as well. Unlimited video streaming, next day delivery and full resolution photo storage.
