I understand the protection offered by a shield, but the amber colour, in my opinion of course, (other opinions are available), looks shucking fite.

Amber? No way. I can see the point of it in clear. How much light is lost trough the tint? JJH

I had a more yellow protector cover on my AT, purely because in winter, commuting through traffic all headlights look equal and the same height. Oncoming traffic can't work out if you're a bike along side a car. They see the 3 headlights and don't work out which 2 of the three are the car. Outside 2? Inside 2? Especially find this if you are sitting in a car in traffi as the headlights are all in a row, all at same height. Orange makes you stand out. anyway, my 3 pennies

Have the Lone Rider one on mine, great piece of kit, I think it makes it more visible, but thats only if they are looking in the first place...

The grill and amber can be folded down leaving the lexon behind so double shield, the lexon actually seems to make the light brighter...

Numerous studies have shown that a triangular set of lights is the most visible and least lightly to induce that frozen syndrome where a car pulls out in front of you and stops. The debate rages about color. Is a amber light more visible than a yellow? Is a yellow more so than white? There is no clear answer because the situation changes. An amber light on the front might not be a good idea if it reduces the output or makes the vechicle appear to be something that it isn’t. A yellow light might disappear in a sea of yellow work vechicles or a low sun. JJH

Yep my new Honda Grom also has the indicators as DRLs.

I did this on my Bandit years ago.. and it did appear to work... but was told to take them off at the MOT
