About 8 miles less than for me, from memory anyway.
No doubt about A ,, Moffat would work , plenty ,hotels , plenty pubs, plenty camping , eateries , shops etc etc , nice riding routes around it - seems like a winner to me
The Mickster did a “ DO “ a number of years ago and it was a great success .
The Buccleuch is often booked well ahead though .

All I would do is suggest a date and let folk book themselves. I've been on here forever and never attended any event so I need to buck up my ideas. Moffat I know well and is not far at all. I'll keep an eye on this but I'm very interested.

I do like those shock cords and pegs you use. Remind me please where you got them from or at least what I must be looking for.
My tarp setup made such a difference getting out the tent in the morning and the grass directly under the tarp was dry compared to that just a couple of meters away, despite not raining overnight.
