My BMW doesn't use any oil and I don't own a Honda so I doubt I'm suitably qualified to answer your question

My GS12 has just done 2450 miles in 8 days and the oil level hasnt changed need not have bothered to take the top up with me but you do dont yer.
Hasnt broke down either, chuffed I am

Mine is run in properly, i know, i did it myself. Only uses oil when i give it beans or do a motorway blast.

My old 08 drank oil at the rate of half a litre every 1000 miles up until it was written off in a crash at 6000 miles. My 09 up until present hasn't used a drop up to 2500 miles.

Some do some don't !!
