Please can those clever people out there tell me what this means to me

An update to MapSource City Navigator Europe v.8 will be available for shipping by 25 February 2006. For more information on this update and/or to receive your update DVD to MapSource City Navigator Europe v.8 contact one of the following distributors: http://shop.garmin.com/cartography/...istributors.asp
City Select Europe has officially gone out of production as December 2005. However we will upgrade all existing City Select Europe customers to City Navigator Europe, which is a more complete product with similar and better functionality. The update DVD is free of charge. However, you will need a new unlock code to view and use the new product, which must be requested through our online unlock process. An update charge might apply during this process. The update charge is $75 (+17.5% VAT if applicable) for the whole DVD coverage. Updates for StreetPilot i3 and C310 can be purchased on pre-programmed card at 25% discount on the price of a new regional card. Contact your local country distributor for more information. The v.8 cut-off date for free unlock City Navigator Europe updates is 1 January 2006. If you purchased a brand new unregistered City Navigator or Select Europe product after this cut-off date, you will be entitled to receive the update to v.8 free of charge.
