How are folks finding Anakee 3's for wear.
My old 1200 Hexhead used Tourances and I got loads of miles from them.
My 2018 1200 Adv is using Anakee 3 and I'm down to 3mm front and rear centre of the tyres with only 6200 miles on them. Seems like they wear fast.

Never had them on a GS but had a couple of sets on my Crosstourers. Besides the racket I liked them. First set had about 10k on them when I was forced to replace due to a puncture. Always thought they lasted well.

Had them on a GSA twin cam, rear 11,000 miles, front still had life in it.
This included three Highland and NW Scottish tours which I find hard on tyres.

I got approx 7000 miles out of the 3’s on a 1200 GSA. 50% of that with pillion and touring hot countries.

My Bridgestone A41’s on a GS 1250 with 0% pillion and 50% touring hot counties - I think front will be done at 5000 but rear will probably get 8000.

Hope that helps.

I have Anakee Adventure tyres on my Tiger Rally Pro. They have around 7000 miles on them so far. They have toured Scotland twice, the French Alps, Provence and Norway on a mix of gravel tracks to Autobahn roads. Some don’t like them saying they don’t grip very well. I very much doubt many on here can find the limit of them on roads. So far they have been ok off road. They are fairly noisy on roads but not too bad. I will probably buy the same again.

Never kept a set long enough to see whether they’d last. Bloody awful things.

I reckon wooden wheels and iron hoops would hold the road better - and iron hoops would definitely be quieter…
I second THIS!!

Bloody noisy horrid things that I got rid of after 3000 miles. (2019 GSA)

I actually thought there was something wrong with the bike until I swapped out to Trail Attack 3s and never looked back

I know I’m in the minority but my 1200 came on Anakee 3s from new and I found them to be good tires

Most adventure bikes suffer from tire noise and it doesn’t seem to matter what brand or model

Personally it’s never bothered me in the slightest, as long as they grip in the wet and the dry that’s all I care about

Another thing i liked about the Anakee 3s was the progressive feel, by this i mean they didnt drop quickly into bends, more linear in feel.

If it will cheer you all up to know that my SDR came shod with Michelin power cup GP and after 900 miles they are looking decidedly second hand so I reckon totally shagged at 1500

If anyone is daft enough to consider them on any bike they are very good as long as you can get them warm which is proving tricky with the weather as it currently is

Yep me to. I bought a 22 plate GSA with 900 miles on it, the A41's looked like brand new, but were totally toast by 4k miles.
I guess it's a small price to pay for living in the Dales.
My Rally Pro came new with A41s I got around 4500 miles out of them. Nearly all of my short rides are Dales too. It is asyou say a small price to pay for our playground. My Anakee Adventures have over 7500 miles on them now but they will need replacing this summer.
