just a quick message to thank Rich' at Autocom. For the proffesional help and loads of free coffee on my visit to the factory from oooopp north ( The Republic of Yorkshire ) to have my BMW audio lead fitted.
I have received the 2091, just waiting for a day off to fit it!!

I am going to have a ferkle about with the original set up first. The autocom is fitted to my...wait for it...an RT !!!!!!!! there full admission....spy in the camp !!!!;) its very quiet but i wear ear plugs, without,,,,,, I get too much wind noise even on an Rt.....even with the screen fully up.
Motorola phone connected ( quiet ) but other arf can hear me when i call her.
Tomtom ( under the seat ) just audio - very quiet.
on board radio - quiet even with the sound up full blast on the handlebar controls.

so it may be that I have ball'sed up the fitting of the speakers in the shoei syncrotec helmet....i cant ride without ear plugs.

I have purchased some gucci type sony in ear motorycle stereo ear phones......so will report back on the 2091 etc.

nice to know that Autocom Rich will ferkle the innards of the autocom to get more volume out of it if required...

cheers RICH' and thanks to autocom.
