And the next adventure for the buggered old geezer and carer!

1000003332.jpg1000003346.jpgNot being ones for organised trips, none the less we opted for a 'tour' of Zurich and the loch to make the best use of our limited time in Zurich.
A coachtrip followed by a guided walk through the old town was actually interesting, diving through some of the back alleys that you would otherwise overlook.
Some smart looking buildings and squares...

Followed by a wee trip on Loch Zurich, luxuriating in unseasonal 20+ temperatures...1000003347.jpg1000003335.jpg

Samples were taken in copious amounts...the temperatures and the fact that we are continuing on meant only frugal purchases in the utterly captivating shop.

On return we dondered back up Bahnhoffstrasse.....probably one of the most luxurious shopping streets in Europe.
Interesting to see at the southern end...1000003356.jpg

Not as quick as this :)

Hauser and Wirth are one of the top art dealers in the world with galleries all over Europe, the USA and London(Princess Beatrice is one of the directors...)
It is owned by Ivan Wirth and his wife Manuela....nee Hauser.
Ivan Wirth has a long term let on a huge chunk of Invercauld Estate, owns the Fife Arms and Invercauld Arms in Braemar...hence the Picasso hanging in one of the rooms in the Fife Arms. He has spent literally millions and millions investing in that corner of Scotland.
I loaded to him at the grouse for his first few trips to Invercauld....nice chap, nice family. More useless facts.
