You start a thread like this and Andy (Finglonga) comes along and makes your avatar move

You need a prog that will open the image up, allow you to add frames and edit the pics in the frames to get the animation movement then save them as a single image as a .gif
Photoshop (and the prog it comes with, Imageready) will do it but probably the easiest one to get to grips with is Jascanim.....Google it and you should find it easily enough.
The problem with making GIFs is they are big, and you need to make the end file withing the bounds of the Avatar size allowance.....(90x90 pixels, less than 120kb IIRC)
Jascanim will do this for you as well

I had a go at incorporating your xray into your avatar and it didn't quite work..
Then I noticed you originally moved the hand at the wrist (oh I can hear the comments now) rather than my
movement.I decided it may be a) bad taste, b) more effort than I could be bothered with so I haven't fixed it.

I was doing a simmilar one but it was taking longer than I expected. Ill try to finish sometime.
