Annoying pop ups

Can anyone please help me ? I'm constantly getting pop ups on my computer from a company headed up as CiD ?
Breast enlargements, Dating, Bingo and Online poker...... the list goes on. I know that it maybe sounds like a good night in, but they are now driving me mad. I have run Mcafee virus detector and have the pop up blocker active on my computer, all to no avail.
Any suggestions that don't involve launching the computer out the window ?

Looks like it's real pain CiD, have read of some these boards and you should manage to get rid of it.
