Annual survey

I have bought similar kits from England / Ebay, the ones that claim the kit costs less than the normal price of the nyloc nuts alone - and in Oz the cost is about 5 % of buying in packets from Mitre 10, or 20% of the cost with a trade account in Universal Fasteners.
Great quality and great to have on the shelf, cant beat reaching for a new correctly sized fastener to replace the rusty, broken or lost .
A lot have gone on the F650, as most of the fasteners on that are are poorly finished, more like a light spay of silver paint than any sort of plating.
I did fit a comprehensive SS kit from Motobins to my R75/7, it was good, expensive and of course no spares. All parts are available separably so you can buy whatever you feel the need for after you have replaced the stock ones.
Just bought some odds and ends from Fasteners Galore on Oz Ebay, Ok, and half the price of the hardware store, but not as good quality as the pommie stuff.

Me to.

Details please.........
I've logged the build so far on a thread in this section called 'project bike advice ' I still haven't finished it due to to many projects, and work etc,I've thinned out my collection now, swapping my Guzzi and Honda CL for a beautiful 1948 G80 Matchless. It needs nothing doing to it so it should allow me a bit more time to finish the GSS.

Still got the 1989 R80 (once) RT, Sidecar outfit. Still looks the same and still runs better than it will ever look in my possession. Jill still has the 1992 R100GS special. Jim Cray tuned and twin sparked then seriously lowered for the shorter legged rider.

Val.

Had this for a few years now, it really is a love/hate relationship. 1990 R100gs standard, just under 43,000 miles at the moment.

R75/5 1970 50% rebuilt
R80/7 1979 bought as a cafe racer but all the original bits came with it and are too good not to put it back to original.
1200 GSA lc 2015

R100GS 1989 now back on road tyres, after various half hearted brake mods will be getting proper brakes and hot pistons in 2016.

R80G/S 1981 new triple clamps and extended monolever and shaft arrived today. Hoping to get the improved bike up and runing for summer.

Does anyone have R80g/s reg BDC 515Y? I see from DVLA that it's SORN'ed, with an MOT that expired in 2014. Used to be mine, I know the bloke I sold it to has since moved it on, I just wondered where it is now :augie

Again, just one, 1969 R60US. Not a lot made, even fewer in the UK. 23,500 miles believed genuine and I've put 5,000 of those on. Unrestored. Period accessories:- Craven rack (thanks Proff) and panniers, leg shields, engine bars and centre stand lifting assist strap.

My R75/5 1973 LWB which I found in 2010 after long search. Refurbished everything (over 6 months) which needed it as bike had spent around 28 years off the road and had a genuine 7600 odd miles on clock (confirmed in writing from 1st of only 2 owners.
I've kept it pretty original except for new Hepco & Becker panniers (now half inch wider so take a helmet and a Secdem screen. Use it when weather favourable and now has 16,000 miles and going well.
