This is another one aimed at the tech-savvy crowd.

It's a long shot, but does anyone have any circuit diagrams and/or exploded diagrams of the ABS regulator fitted to 2008-onward R-series (as per attached photograph)?
Note that this is not the 2004-2007 EVO (electrically-assisted) ABS.

The closest I've gotten so far is the motorcycle-electrics circuit diagram in my Haynes manual, which (as expected) does not have a section dealing with the ABS regulator.

No specific info, but I do know some folk have suffered from seized ABS modulator motor brushes. Cured with a bit of simple "percussion engineering" by some, or by other folk drilling locking tabs, opening motor to repair, then aralditing motor cover back in place.

Hi again Puk,

Yep, I've seen a detailed thread on i-BMW where a motor was fixed on a late-model K1200GT. :)

I was given an idea by Beemerman here that made me wonder if it would be possible to gain access to the regulator's motor and modulator valves with the goal of actuating them directly.
This would be in order to perform a 'full-house' brake bleed on an '08-on bike, without need for a GS911 or the BMW diagnostic computer.
