Delighted to see stringer back were he belongs and boy what a captain. My nerves be gone all the week over this . Just checked out flights to Cardiff wth air fungus E556 each return. guess I be watching at home.

As for Paul O'Connell he's the best all rounder there is

Glad to see Ronan O'Gara back on form today although not greatly challenged with difficult kicking positions.

Great last five minutes to the first half and good controlling game in the second half but they'll have to turn up at minute one against the Welsh who have a point to prove.

Don't mention the Grand Slam for goodness sake

Back to basics

This chap plays in the way that I was taught -over sixty years ago! Pick the ball up on the side away from your fly half and deliver it to him in one movement. Perhaps it was more important in those days when wing forwards were not required to bind, but you could see yesterday the way the backs got moving so quickly as a result of his efforts.
However there is no doubt that if the sin bin was reserved for intentional or malicious offences only, England would have shown by now that they are the strongest side in the six nations;;
