The VAT on hammer price is normal & inescapable unfortunately so it's actually the BP+VAT to watch so around 24% on the hammer price. Still a large sum if you're not used to auctions.

I completely agree. The clues suggest this was a decent business - all the fluids are genuine BMW items and they had gazebos and a huge bbq… suggesting they were quite social. Someone’s dream, what a shame.

they were a decent Bmw dealer close to me then a couple of years ago stopped selling new and just did the service side and mainly secondhand BMs . I guess id didn't work out. its tough out there for most small businesses my misses works in a local pub and its only a matter of time before it goes I suspect. my mate owns GH motorcycles in colchester mainly enduro and motox been going for 40 years and he is down to bare bones out fit now just him and one other bod. years ago there were 8 or 9 people working there. sad times indeed
