I think youre right on the money there for a no nonsense robust GPS. I have one amd should really look into whether or not the maps can be updated. I only really use it when absolutely necessary

I think they are lifetime maps but I’m sure someone will confirm this…..

Well ive no idea really but I just plugged mine into Garmin Express and it downloaded an update which suggests its the latest version..previously showing 2013
