hi ive read about sd cards on here, but the manual says nothing of the size that can be used?

ive heard 8gb is the max, but others say they use a 32gb and it works fine.

does anyone use the new ULTRA fast, ones? are they ok in a 660?

cheers

Guide to sizes.........http://support.garmin.com/support/s...caseId={18331ce0-4af6-11e3-f27b-000000000000}

A lot of bods use bigger cards without issues. The device only reads the card, fast cards will work but are mainly used for cameras which need fast write speeds. :thumb2

hello the instructions do say 8gb i put a 32gb in and its ok i did try a 64 and it was not reconised both are the high speed

Using an SD card size larger than 8GB is not supported for these devices. However, using one will not harm the device but it may or may not work. Also, Garmin supports all speed ratings (including unmarked cards). :rob

I would just use the 32GB if it works ok. :thumb
