Another Sidestand Question?

Another question following Cestria's earlier one - is the sidestand strong enough to spin the bike on?

With most other bikes I can tilt the machine onto it's sidestand with both wheels off the ground and spin it around. Great for manoeuvring in tight spaces or getting out of awkward parking situations. I've done this with all sports bikes and a Varadero but haven't tried with my GS as the stand doesn't look that beefy considering the weight of the bike.

Any thoughts?

Put it like this would you trust the sidestand bolt after you spin your 225kg GS on it i would not, a friend of mine use to put his KTM on its side stand to kickstart the bike until he got up one morning to find the bikes sidestand bolt had given way and the bike had fallen onto his wifes car!!!!!! just imagine the strain you put on that sidestand/retaining bolt.
