Morning all,
Had a good search but not much info.

I bought the TT polycarbonate headlight protector, I didn't buy the Anti Glare Shield.
I have Les's HiD 50's.

Before I go and buy the Shield does it stop the glare?

Thanks in advance

Certainly did for me!

I found there was no major problem on dipped without it, but on main there was a lot of back-scatter.

The shield has definitely helped cut that down.

Regards

Sean

Stops the light reflecting onto the bottom of the screen which helps but you will always get reflection of the headlight protector, and it gets worse if you scratch it, so clean with care.

works for me, stops the headlight reflecting back onto the screen and getting a "halo" effect around the edges, worth the couple of quid in my opinion, and looks pretty cool to!

I had a similar problem with the BMW perspex headlight protector. In a scrapheap challenge moment :hammer I made this out of a piece of plastic taken from the back of an old CRT television set.

First made a template out of cardboard from an old cereal box then cut to size plus three holes to fit plastic ties through.:thumb

Works perfectly now.:101
