HID H7R Anti Glare Bulbs 'More In Stock'

I have fitted both types of H7 into Dip & Main on my 1200 - they went straight in with no modification. The H7R has a much more distinct cut off and worth it for the Dipped beam.

Beemerman - did you have any issues with the HID on main beam. I'm curious as some suggest they take a while to start and that may cause an issue when moving from dip to main and also when using the headlight flasher?

Yes, it does take a while to warm up on main beam. But I have a couple of Hella FF50's (halogen) wired up as well to main beam so they do the "flashing" duties. I'm going to upgrade the FF50's to 55w HID and when that's done I will take the standard main beam back to a 55w halogen bulb. I will also put a handlebar ON/OFF switch onto the FF50's when they are HID'd as I only want them activated at night for longevity reasons.

Excellent feedback - cheers

I'm also thinking of adding a couple of 55w driving lamps so will hold off the main beam HID until then.

We got a good set of HIDs to power up a set of FF50's if you need them. Also got a few handle bar switches and a new wireing relay for aux lights. 2 x Ballasts and H3 bulbs come in at £118.

Will post a link if your interested.

Best Regards

Mick
