Any body got a Klim overland Jacket ??

Well .....

Oldnfat's jacket arrived today and it's just the ticket :thumb2 The whole thing feels really well made and material itself is thick and has a quality feel about it. I've treated myself to a Rukka 'alpha' soft shell mid layer to use with it.

Thanks Oldnfat .... :thumb2

So does this mean you are a 'proper adventurer type' now......:bow

I have always been a hardcore adventurer Bouncer .... there is nothing that I shy away from .... I am ... a tough guy ... :rob

Mountains in Corsica!! Feck me did it take your breath away !!!

Just got mine today ( thanks santa !) And it is a lovely bit of kit . I am a 2XL and it fits perfectly with room for a fleece / t shirt . Well made and I look gorgeous in it !! Right I'm off cruising in Waitrose :D

Ok, so here's my take on the overland jacket and trooosers.

went off roading around Salisbury on Bakermans off road do. The overland performed perfectly. Unfortunately I took a tumble on the first lane, and rather than fall on dirt, I fell in to a rather large body of water! Whilst waterproof, it will not stop water from getting underneath the jacket if you go swimming :D
However, even though the temperatures were low and I was soaked, the suit stopped the wind from making the situation unbearable and I carried on and had a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Worth the money.....I should coco:thumb

Yes you are right about Klim cuffs it's probably so they can sell you the gloves

Sent from this twatting thing

Glad its not just me, my son has the badlands and I have an adventure suit, and whilst the quality of all the kit is great, we both have an issue with the sizing of the cuffs and arms of the jackets, its only on the bigger sizes thought, its as though when they size up a jacket the sleeves and cuffs are not sized up in the same ratio as the rest of the jacket, really annoying.

Bought it - it arrived OK - no additional charges

UK seller

With tags...

He says not seconds either
But.... I don't really know
My wife bought me them

She said afterwards that she didn't really know what price they should have been as she read the US reviews... doh

Anyway - got them - UK seller
No issues so far but only a shortish cold dry run so far...

Hi Newboy, I'm still waiting to hear an answer to your above question too, they look a good price but some of the ebay adds say no import duty others are more vague, I like to know the definitive answer.

Have you got their gloves?
Wondered if the summer-ish gloves will be OK with heated grips and shields

I do have a Overland jacket which I picked up on friday, and it will be posted on eBay shortly. There are many good things about it, but I have a "small" issue with collar as I don't have much of a neck (that's the main problem). One of the other issues is the inner "chest" pocket, it's so big that things rattle around in it, and placement is a bit too low to be a chest pocket. Otherwise reasonably nice jacket for the price, unfortunately there is no one else in that market space to compete with them.... and the reason for ebay is that as I drove home in it I can send it back, adv-spec have a great return policy.

As for summer-gloves, yup with muffs and heated grips they will be just fine.
