Looking into this 14 plate GSA TE, it was registered August 2014. My bike is a March 2015 GS TE.

Could there be any difference between the two? I want to make sure it has exactly the same kit and there haven't been any mechanical upgrades between those two time periods? if they are the same bike and have the latest updates then all should be good.

ta!!

The windscreen was changed in June 14 production. August 14 production got the option of keyless and Pro shift assist as well as the heavier crank and a change to the front fork bridge. Don't know of any changes up to this summer:nenau

Would be wise to find out what manufacturer year in they are and not when it was first registered. They could have sat in a showroom for a bit.

Ideally, you want one that was built after September 2014, as it will be a 2015 model, and the heated grips will work. You can tell if it's a 2015, as it will have black heel guards, rather than silver.:thumb

Cheers chaps. Exactly what i was after! The bike i was interested in is gone. Which was a december '14 (has black heel guards ;) ) the one they have left is the same price but older and more mileage lol. and fucking silver heel guards. .... bloody cheek. That would be a cold winter with chilly hands

I didn't think that the GSA's suffered with poor Heated Grips, I thought that it was just the GS.

The GSA always had the heavier Crank, they weren't built with the GS one.

I have the 2015 MY GSA and the only difference that I'm aware of is the Heel protectors were changed from silver to black.

I don't think that the Gear Shift Assist Pro is backward compatible with the 2014MY and the Keyless wasn't available.

Gear shift assist pro can be fitted to 2014 MY bikes it was only people who had bikes before August 2013 who couldn't, although to be 100% the dealer can tell you.

Early GSAs definitely have feeble heated grips. GSAP was available for all GSAs from launch, but was initially dealer-fit only, and became a factory-fit option later.

And keyless is available for MY2015 onwards
