Any experience of using H7 Osram 12v 65w on a 1200 ADV TC

My experience of higher powered bulbs is they have a shorter life. Standard ones don't last long on a GS to begin with. Better off putting some decent aux lighting on rather than the shite GSA ones.

+1 for the HID. Though some good spots. (Not fogs) to back up main beam would still be handy to have.

I think you'll find they are 55w...

No problems with canbus, but they don't last long; light output is mighty impressive, though. HID is way better :)

HID is the way to go been no filament nowt to blow as such

Iv got a 100watt blue bulb high beam it's almost as bright as my HID but don't illuminate much got spots & fogs on mine, think I burnt retinas out of a chap on the M2 last week he flashed 1st :D

Plenty of LEDs about with 1500 lumens and more. Check you can get the beam pattern you need 30 degrees or less.
Many are floods = cone beam. Fine at short range steep angle but otherwise dazzling to others and 1/2 of your light is wasted into the sky.

These ones http://www.phoenixautobulbs.co.uk/pr/h7-super-bright-65w/

Just wondered if they made a worthwhile difference and if the 65w confused the Canbus

Cheers

Your better of with a 35 watt hid system instead of these, hids put out more illumines and you will get far better life out of them, 65 watt or high power bulbs run hotter and more draw on the wires, have seen the 100 watt of road bulbs melt the wires before.

Pm me and I'll give you some options and prices, not as bad as might think :)
