The metal covers on the lower sides of the tank suck the heat out of my knees and thighs in this weather doing the daily commute

I know i can buy knee pads circa the £50 mark, but being poor and penniless, some may say tight, would prefer the cheap heath robinson approach for the winter, so a non permanent solution would be best

any ideas - fancy a bit of sheepskin

nice estate agents sign...:thumb2 with some bubble wrap on the inside...:D

in the old'en days the couriers used'em round london so it must work...

you know that crappy 'armour' in the back of a textile jacket that's no better than a tablemat?
Now you've a good use for it. :thumb2

with the added bonus that when you piss yourself it retains the valuable heat for longer. :thumb2

thats the worse feeling in the world when the rain gets to your crotch and then runs down your leg

wont admit to the former unless it was the middle of an enduro or riding in India

Yep.
Coz you just know,
that's just the beginning.
It's too late now to do anything about it.
It will get worse. :banghead:
