I'm after a combi kit for my F800GS and wondered whether there were any stockists in the north west, as I'm down here on holiday at the moment?

Otherwise, if anyone knows of a good mail order outfit that doesn't charge the earth for posting such a heavy bit of kit to the Highlands and Islands that would be great too.

Hi there

In Chester, a few days left, but may return in a week or so, again briefly. I rang a few local suppliers but often they're not in stock, and some mail order businesses charge a real premium for delivery where I live.

Hope this helps

Where exactly are you and for how long ?

I haven't checked this but Demon Tweeks are in easy travelling distance, if I remember correctly.

It's Wrexham but they don't hold Hyperpro stock for your bike.

Plan in advance I reckon because as far as I can tell most dealers will not hold this stuff in stock.

You could try Motorworks but they advise customers of a long wait.

Thanks for the advice - yes Demon Tweeks is an amazing place - as you say they'll have to order them in, takes about two weeks.

I could probably pass by Motorworks to pick up the combi kit, so will give them a call to see whether they've any in.

Incidentally, Hein Gericke are listed as stockists and they've normally been great about free postage when I've bought stuff out of stock from a branch - I'll report back...

Try Calsport

Hi There,
I got my Hyperpro springs for my 1150 from Calsport, delivered in a couple of days and their website says free UK delivery on orders over £20. Worth a call and/or an email to check if delivery to you is free - their site does claim free inside the UK so hopefully you should be ok.:thumb2

I think you're asking a lot to be able to walk into shop and they have a set of legs to fit such a rare bike as the 800GS (compared to a blade or R1, etc).
And I don't think it is that easy just to buy off the shelf....... shouldn't you be taking spring weights into consideration when buying suspension, so that will almost always mean an 'order' and later delivery?

ABW can supply Ohlins kits for that bike...... if your not hellbent on the Hyperpro of course.....:nenau

Thanks for the replies folks.

Calsport sound good, with good prices and an unbeatable free UK delivery option - I'll call them tomorrow to clarify this as the combi kit will be a fair weight...
