I spotted this while I was having a clean up,, the other side around the pot is clean and it's still under warranty so a trip to my dealer is on the cards,, anyone had anything similar ? The yellow staining won't come of? Thanks.

Ok thanks, I thought as much and hopefully they will remove the yellow stain when they sort the leak.

considering there's a vacuum in that intake , strange to see fuel leaking out and staining the engine there.

.

I couldn't live with that.

You should consider rejecting the bike

Its probably fuel or some VOC of some sort in the flex diffusing into the laquer, if you disconnect the TB flex joint I bet the inside is much worse.
Heat will make the effect worse.

New engine barrel at the least

The stain will never come off, ever

We've seen it all before with 1100's & 1150's :)

Fuel hose joints though, not TB's

I will try for a new barrel ,, I suspect they'll tell me they will change for new but take some sandpaper to the original. Thanks for your advice.

You can try for a new barrel if you like but the part with the stain on it is the head :-/

Another useless post,, there quite popular here aren't they. Isn't there a 'talk aload of useless shit " section here where you can go and get it out of your system.?
