I have found oil around the gear lever area on my R1150RT (See photos). Has anyone got any ideas where it is coming from? I want to try and fix it while I have got the fairing off.
Thanks

Might be worth checking the camchain tensioner bolt behind the left throttle body. If it's not tight enough I have found that it can cause oil to be flung around.
Just nip it up a bit if needed.

RTs are lovely in that they hide all these little weeps... I've had a reasonable weep/ leak from the rear crank seal which will run into the flywheel and get flung around the outside of the bell housing which is a dry joint so can weep oil... I didn't get onto the clutch and I rode for many a mile like that without issue apart from oily grime on and around the lower joint...
My recent bargain RT had a ton of mess as well but that may of been the extra litre oil oil it shouldn't have had trying to escape...😆
