Bakermans' thread re; 'somewhere to go' gave me a bit of an idea for a a possible event later in the year.

I live in Cornwall and often do sections of the coastal path - it's 630 miles of fantastic scenery and walking exercise. But you often end up knackered and far from your start point / vehicle.

Would anybody be interested in me coming up with some ideas for a combined GSing and walking event, perhaps over a long weekend, something along the lines of one gang walking / one gang doing a ride out each day with the riders picking the walkers up as pillions and taking them back for their bikes (or whatever).

Camping and B&B's as usual. Nothing too serious, just some walking, biking, drinking and banter - 'event' is too grandiose BYKWIM.

Just a thought :nenau:nenau

I'd be up for that.. my wife loves walking and I love biking... I'll pick her up at the end as long as someone can help her over the big bumps... she's only little!:whip

I'll be meandering along part of it west of Newquay on Saturday if anyones in the area and fancies a pint.
