I'm visiting a fellow Veteran car owner in Tonsberg on Wed as well, hopefully during the day. He's selling his 1915 Alldays and I'm almost finished restoring my 1912 one so it's a great chance to see how they changed in only a few years. I dont have a spare £20,000 so won;t be bringing it home

BTW, to all those who said "Don't go to to Nordkapp" wrong wrong wrong! It was worth every bit of pain and suffering to get there and the journey South was an adventure in itself. The only downside is that we were riding about 2 weeks early so none of the places we wanted to visit were open yet but the timing was forced on us by circumstances.
In an ideal world the Nordkapp trip should be 5 days through Sweden/Finland up and a week back through Norway or a week each way in Norway plus time for extra stops (eg Lofotens).
I;ve written a diary if anyone is interested - it's only 13,500 words so far
I may post it once I've got back and edited it down a tad.
Again, thanks to Liv for all the help with the visor and from everyone who came up with suggestions without the usual sarcasm - Cheers guys GSers really are a fine old bunch (like the Turkish blokes we met at Nordkapp who were doing the trip from Ankara and back in 2 weeks!)
