Any members from Richmond Yorkshire know this bike for sale?

Hmm, now ive read the bit about jefferies and a new abs pump, a lad from york Alex was selling one on here last year. I had a look at it it was pretty average it was at jefferies when i went to see it the screen was missing and it had had the engine painted black badly, scratches on engine bars. Pretty sure this is it , twas a 54 plate.

Cosmetically very average if its the same one.
 
Im guessing it had been dropped when alex had had it, i think one of the dash dials had a crack on it as well from memory. I assumed it was sat in jefferies due to the abs pump work. The ard cases had been sold seperately on here. it had had a tough 12 months. It was also due a service which tallys with the new ad. He wanted about £4k and a bit for it. Thats definately it.

Not worth £5200 buy it now, maybe the start price.

Looking at Alex's thread Jefferies replaced bits to tidy it up.

When you say dropped, do you mean thrown down the road or stationary dropped, can't see any mention of it on Alex's thread?

Why do you think it had a hard life with Alex?

Can't see his old for sale thread either

No probs.

The lad alex bought it from jefferies in 2011 and it was there when i went to see it a year later in sept 2012 (outside round the back) when he decided to sell. It was not tidied, that was how he was selling it.

They were gouges on the bars so slow speed spill, more than a drop but i am only guessing hence perhaps why no screen at the time.

I think the owner of the one in the new ebay ad has popped up on another thread on here so chance to see if it is the same bike, it seems coincidental (jefferies/abs fix/mileage/purchase date/location/needing a service on purchase) but may be a different one.:confused:

I dont think it had been particularly well looked after in the 12 months but maybe it was just in need of a good clean...compared to the 54k miler 02 plate i had just sold, mine looked newer in comparison. probably would have bought for £4200 given it was a 05 with lowish miles but decided to chuck my money at a newer bike.

For sale threads seem to drop off the archives sooner.
