Any nice places to stay - Northern France?

Am on the look out for some nice hotel accommodation and places to stay in France about 120 miles east of the tunnel in the general direction of Luxembourg/ardennes/eifel.

This is a regular en route overnight stay area for a group of us and in the past we have made good use of hotels in Mons, Maubeuge and Saint Quentin, however, fancy a change ......

Anyone have any suggestions, preferably in a town and with scenic roads to get there?

Yes there are loads of places and yes it has been discussed zillions of times before but I'm afraid you might have to make a bit of an effort and use the search facility.

This is in a great location and the service is excellent.

There's a nice place near Verdun that Wapping sorted out in a Wapping's Wander last year - it was very good. I'll have a dig around...
